Alright, so first review is going to be on How To Win Friends & Influence People In The Digital Age. An adapted version to Dale Carnegie’s classic, How To Win Friends & Influence People. I guess I should start with the fact that I’ve never read the original version so I have nothing to compare this new version too. Looking for the original I stumbled across this version and figured it’d be more appropriate for the times. Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of this book, I did get some take aways from it. However, I will say that this is a great book for anybody in a leadership position or someone who has their own company. Overall it’s great in the sense that it helps shift your focus from you and teaches you how to start paying more attention in others interest. Here’s a few chapters from the book to help give you an idea on what you’re dealing with, “Take Interest in Others’ Interest, Listen Longer, Leave Others a Little Better, Surrender the Credit”.
Recommended for: People in the leadership position. People whose job is clientele based. Anybody lacking in the empathy department. Anybody just looking to communicate better with people.
